Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CareGiver & Housekeeping professional to provide exceptional support to individuals in need of personal care and a clean, safe environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining a hygienic living space. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and attention to detail, creating a positive atmosphere for those they serve. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to contribute to long-term care and community well-being through hands-on support and meticulous housekeeping. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor residents' health by observing changes in condition, taking vital signs, and reporting concerns promptly Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required Maintain cleanliness and organization of living spaces through thorough cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks Support residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, or other developmental disabilities by providing specialized care including memory care techniques Follow established care plans diligently while ensuring safety protocols such as CPR and first aid are ready for immediate response in emergencies Skills Proven experience in assisted living, home health, hospice care, or long-term care environments Strong knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges such as autism or Alzheimer's disease Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with team members and engaging compassionately with residents Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times Demonstrated ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to the unique needs of each resident Join us in creating a warm, caring environment where residents feel valued and supported every day.
