Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred Houseman to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest areas and hotel facilities. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and colleagues Conduct floor care activities including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and buffing to maintain pristine surfaces Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies in accordance with manual handling safety guidelines Maintain sanitation standards through regular cleaning routines and proper waste disposal practices Support hotel housekeeping management by restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest and staff safety at all times Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning environments Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and custodial procedures Ability to handle cleaning equipment effectively including vacuums, buffers, mops, and chemical sprayers Familiarity with chemical handling protocols and safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure safe use of cleaning agents Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and prolonged periods of standing or walking Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond swiftly in urgent situations Join us as a Houseman and be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
