Job description Cave Springs Resort is committed to providing world-class hospitality and has a mission to facilitate tourism to the area, support the local economy, and showcase the natural beauty of Northern California. We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Housekeepers to join our Housekeeping team. The role of the Housekeeper is to provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests by ensuring their rooms are fully-stocked, clean, and inviting at all times. Responsibilities include changing towels, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and cleaning public areas. In addition, Housekeepers are expected to report any technical issues, address guest queries, assist in retrieving lost items, and ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy at the end of the shift. The ideal candidate should have experience as a Housekeeper, although prior experience is not required. The candidate should also have experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products, good physical health and stamina, and the flexibility to work in shifts. Other essential qualities include excellent organizational skills, the ability to follow instructions, and the ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards. Housekeeper Responsibilities Clean and tidy up hotel rooms, cabins, lobby, common areas, spa and pool areas (look for any abandoned dirty towels, trash) Dust and polish various surfaces and furniture Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Empty trash bins Change linens and towels and replace toiletries and/or refill dispensers Restock hotel rooms with provided amenities Replace any damaged brochures Provide guests with additional linens/toiletries upon request Collaborate with the rest of the housekeeping team to complete the daily cleaning schedule Restock cleaning supplies in the hand cart Report any issues that require maintenance Disinfect high touch surfaces Stage each room as instructed by team leader Keep laundry and supply room organized Report any damaged linens to team leader Maintain attention to detail (dust in high or low areas, loose hair, sticky surfaces)
