Job Description
Hotel Team Member Job Summary The Hotel Team Member is responsible for providing excellent guest service while supporting the daily operations of the hotel. This is a cross-functional role that requires flexibility to perform duties in housekeeping, front desk, bar service, laundry, and housekeeping support (houseman). Team members are expected to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hospitality, and professionalism while ensuring a positive guest experience. Key Responsibilities Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and restocking amenities. Welcome guests, handle check-in and check-out procedures, answer phones, and assist with reservations at the front desk. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company policies and local regulations. Operate laundry equipment, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels. Perform houseman duties, including delivering linens and supplies, removing trash, assisting with room inspections, and maintaining public areas. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and resolve concerns whenever possible. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the hotel. Follow all hotel policies, health and safety standards, and security procedures. Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure efficient hotel operations. Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in multiple departments. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods. Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed. Must be dependable, professional, and a team player.
