We are a summer camp located in Lake Hughes in need of housekeepers. The Housekeeping team member will execute all housekeeping operations across the entire property. They will be responsible to maintain healthy, clean and sanitized housing and restroom facilities for campers, staff, and guests.

GENERAL OVERVIEW OF POSITION

Implement high quality cleaning and sanitation across the entire Canyon Creek campus. Upkeep camper cabins and guest lodging areas. Execute routine and intermittent cleaning and sanitation for all restrooms and housing facilities. Provide housekeeping duties may include changing sheets, changing, and arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging guest lodging areas, camper laundry services, Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift Assist in maintaining an organized and safe and clean environment for guests and staff.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision. Exhibits initiative, responsibility and accountability. Strong attention to detail. Successful working in an independent and team environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS

Experience in housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning operations preferred.

BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS

Reliable transportation required.

Physical Capabilities:

bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs. Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment. Must successfully-pass a background screening to ensure suitability of contact with minor children and the public, in accordance with Federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
