Hotel Houseman/ Maintenance Wyndham Garden Lancaster Lancaster, CA Job Details Full-time $16.90 - $20.00 an hour 6 days ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Houseman / Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of the hotel by maintaining cleanliness, assisting housekeeping staff, and performing general maintenance tasks. This role is essential in ensuring guest satisfaction, safety, and the overall appearance and functionality of the property.

Key Responsibilities Compensation:

$16.90 - $20 Houseman Duties Support housekeeping staff with linen delivery, trash removal, and supply restocking Maintain cleanliness of public areas, hallways, lobbies, meeting rooms, and back-of-house areas Assist with room inspections and preparation for arriving guests Respond promptly to guest and housekeeping requests Set up and break down meeting spaces or special event areas as needed Maintenance Duties Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and carpentry work Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the property Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas in a timely manner Report safety hazards, equipment issues, and repair needs to management Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance storage areas in an organized manner Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping or maintenance experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
