Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all living areas. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards across all spaces. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens. Operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning detergents safely and effectively. Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to ensure safety. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including sweeping patios or decks. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services. Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards. Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, windows, and appliances. Follow janitorial and custodial best practices to uphold sanitation standards in residential settings. Assist with housekeeper management tasks such as inventory control of cleaning supplies and scheduling. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services. Knowledge of cleaning procedures for various surfaces and floor types; experience with floor care techniques is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners, polishers, and carpet cleaners. Ability to perform physical tasks including manual handling of heavy items and outdoor work when necessary. Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Basic knowledge of cleaning detergents and sanitation products; ability to follow safety guidelines during their use. Experience in laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal is desirable.
