What We Offer Full-Time Position Starting at $18.00/hour Supportive and team-focused work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees, including: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Holiday Pay 401(k) Employee Assistance Program Ongoing training and career development What You'll Do As a Housekeeper, you'll help maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout our skilled nursing facility by: Cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing floors and surfaces Cleaning lobbies, restrooms, hallways, windows, mirrors, drinking fountains, and handrails Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners Operating housekeeping equipment safely and according to manufacturer guidelines Maintaining housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply rooms in a clean and organized manner Following infection control procedures and facility safety policies Properly storing cleaning chemicals and using caution signage when appropriate Reporting resident safety concerns promptly to leadership Monitoring housekeeping supplies and notifying the Director of Housekeeping when inventory needs replenishment Providing friendly, professional customer service to residents, families, visitors, and coworkers Working independently and collaboratively to maintain high cleanliness standards What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, hotel, or long-term care is a plus—but we're willing to train motivated candidates Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented Physical Requirements Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Repetitive cleaning activities throughout the shift Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning tools Why Western Slope Health Center?
