About the Role - Houseperson (Housekeeping) The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This position supports the Room Attendants on the guest floors. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to; stocking carts, prepping guestrooms to be cleaned, removing trash, stripping bed linen, working on special projects throughout the hotel, etc. This person must have good communication skills, the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight and the ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift). This is a fast-paced position. Must have full open flexibility. The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Wage Information:

The hourly rate for this position is $23.50/hr. This is the pay rate for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay. All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States. This Position does not offer sponsorship of Work Visas. Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills Previous hotel experience is preferred Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
