Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently. Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, polishing, and using carpet cleaning methods as needed to preserve flooring quality. Manage outdoor work responsibilities including patio or porch cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance when required. Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to prevent injury. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns. Organize cleaning supplies and equipment for efficient workflow while adhering to safety protocols. Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms. Follow detailed janitorial and custodial procedures to maintain cleanliness standards across all areas of the home. Experience Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, carpet extractors, and floor buffers is advantageous. Knowledge of various cleaning detergents and sanitization techniques ensures effective removal of dirt and germs. Experience with outdoor work tasks like patio or deck cleaning enhances versatility in the role. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client homes throughout the day.
