As a houseperson, you would be responsible for performing including but not limited to the following tasks to the highest standards: Detailed Job Duties Cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture and pictures Vacuums, sweep and mop floors Empty carts of soiled linen and dispose of trash, remove spots Restock housekeeping carts as needed Polish fixtures Deliver items to rooms upon request and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the supervisor or engineering team. Maintain proper storage and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands Requires standing and walking 95% of workday. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. Considerable repetitive motion of hands, wrists, shoulders and back is required. The employee must have the ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee is expected to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb and crawl, depending upon work tasks, and to lift up to 50 pounds given the materials moved and tools used.
