The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for upholding the company's cleanliness standards of all guest rooms and common areas located in the hotel. They report to the housekeeping department's Housekeeping Supervisors.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure the standard room set-up is in compliance with company standards. Sanitize and clean all room surfaces including but not limited to: pictures, electronics, appliances, and furniture. Vacuum and mop all floors to ensure no debris (hair, trash, etc.) remain. Restock all room amenities. Properly maintain workstations by stocking it with sheets, towels, amenities, etc. Light laundry duty (folding of towels and sheets).
Cleaning of common spaces:
Breakfast Room, Administrative Room, etc. Assist hotel staff with any additional cleaning chores whenever needed. Complete daily housekeeping reports and turn-in pass key daily. Respond to and follow up on all guest requests to ensure customers are satisfied with the hotel's services and accommodations. Ensure systems and procedures are in place and followed for guest safety and security.
Education/Experience:
Prior hotel housekeeping experience is required. Excellent communication skills for teamwork collaboration.
Requirements:
Possess a willingness to learn on the job. Ability to work quickly and efficiently under time constraints. Familiarity with using commercial cleaning chemicals. Possess good organizational and prioritization skills. Able to work independently and with others. Must be able to push, pull, lift and carry 25 pounds. You might be required to walk, bend, climb, kneel, and extend reach to complete assigned tasks. Able to work a flexible schedule. _________________ We are an equal opportunity employer.
