Environmental Services Assistant (Housekeeping)
Location:
Oakmont Gardens Wage:
$20-$22/hr, depending on experience Make a Difference Behind the Scenes Oakmont Gardens is seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Services Assistant to help ensure our community is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. This position supports both housekeeping and laundry services, assists with resident transitions, and helps maintain our high standards for comfort and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry schedules and coordinate updates with the Director Communicate with residents regarding services, updates, and schedule changes Manage scheduling for deep cleans, carpet and window cleaning Assist with apartment move-in/move-out procedures and inspections Process supply orders and code invoices for the Environmental Services department Cross-train in basic housekeeping and laundry tasks to provide hands-on support when needed Provide general support to the Environmental Services team as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage shifting priorities Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (e.g., cleaning, moving furniture) Why Join Us?
