Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours. You will ensure that the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and inviting while assisting guests with their dining experience. Your culinary skills, attention to detail, and commitment to hospitality will contribute to creating a positive start to our guests' day.

This position requires availability for early morning shifts:

Saturday & Sunday:

5:00 AM

11:00 AM Wednesday
Friday:
7:00 AM
10:30 AM Duties Prepare and set up the breakfast area according to hotel standards.

Serve food and beverages, ensuring quality and presentation meet expectations. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including regular cleaning of tables, counters, and equipment. Handle food safely and adhere to all food handling regulations. Assist guests with any inquiries or requests, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Operate kitchen equipment as necessary, including coffee machines and toasters. Manage inventory of breakfast supplies and report any shortages or issues. Bus tables promptly after guests finish their meals to maintain a tidy environment. Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations during breakfast service. Qualifications Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Experience in a hotel or catering setting is advantageous. Ability to operate a cash register for any transactions that may occur during service. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are required. Must be able to work early morning shifts and maintain a flexible schedule. A commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
