Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools efficiently. Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care. Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, and supplies safely while adhering to proper handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patio furniture or outdoor walkways. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout your shift. Experience Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments is highly preferred. Proven knowledge of cleaning detergents, surface care products, and proper sanitation practices. Experience operating various cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, and floor buffers. Familiarity with laundry procedures and handling delicate fabrics or specialized textiles. Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical stamina. Previous housekeeping management or custodial experience is advantageous for supervisory roles or complex household needs.
