Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment. Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures and ensuring all amenities are stocked. Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and stairwells through sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols. Conduct pressure washing and floor care tasks to uphold the facility's hygiene standards. Assist with custodial duties such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment handling with proper manual handling techniques. Follow all sanitation procedures and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety during cleaning tasks. Ability to clean sixteen checkout rooms within an eight hour period. Qualifications Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and infection control protocols. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, and floor buffers effectively. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and extended periods of standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Experience with laundry services and window cleaning is advantageous. Commitment to safety practices including PPE use and proper chemical handling techniques.
