Overview Join our dedicated team as an Assisted Living Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and passion for cleanliness will create a warm, welcoming environment for residents. In this vital role, you'll ensure that living spaces are spotless, sanitized, and comfortable, promoting health and well-being for all. Your efforts will directly contribute to a safe, hygienic, and cheerful community where residents feel cared for and valued every day. Duties Cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, showers, and kitchens using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Conduct window cleaning and floor care to maintain a bright, polished environment Handle laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing resident linens and clothing Use janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to proper chemical handling procedures Maintain sanitation standards through regular disinfection of high-touch surfaces and infection control protocols Assist with custodial responsibilities such as waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and ensuring overall cleanliness of the facility Skills Proven experience in commercial or custodial cleaning environments with knowledge of janitorial best practices Skilled in window cleaning, floor care, sanitation, and general housekeeping tasks Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely while using personal protective equipment (PPE) effectively Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies or furniture when necessary Strong customer service skills to interact positively with residents and staff Familiarity with infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for vulnerable populations Experience operating various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, and floor polishers Join us in making a difference by creating clean, safe spaces that enhance residents' quality of life.
