Job Overview Join our dedicated environmental services team as a Housekeeping Laundry Aide, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene through efficient laundry and cleaning practices. Your energetic approach will help ensure that all laundry services are performed promptly and thoroughly, contributing to the overall well-being of our facility. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable custodial skills while making a meaningful difference in people's lives. Duties Performs housekeeping duties to facility resident and public areas to ensure a sanitary environment. Attends meetings and in-services as required. Reports problems and needs to the supervisor in a timely manner. Maintains written records and documents of services performed. Follows established policies and procedures related to housekeeping and related safety measures. Follows correct established infection control procedures. Receives,sorts, folds, counts, marks, and deliversfacility and residentlaundry. Performs other laundry tasks such as making sure the laundry area, including machines, are kept dean. Check and clean lint traps every shift. Follows proper infection control procedures. Follow policy and procedures for safety measures. Other duties as assigned.
