Follow hotel emergency procedures and sanitation protocols to ensure guest safety and hygiene at all times. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen or equipment movement while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines. Support hotel housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure continuous operations. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards. Familiarity with floor care methods including carpet cleaning, polishing, and floor cleaning processes. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining compliance with safety data sheets (SDS). Skilled in operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and other janitorial tools. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively in urgent situations. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks, stand for extended periods, and perform manual handling activities safely. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
