Job Overview Seeking a Housekeeper for a Private Family. 40-45 hours per week
Cherry Hills Village Overview:
The Housekeeper maintains the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of the residence. The Housekeeper should be detail-oriented, demonstrate a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and a commitment to providing a clean and welcoming environment for the family and their guests.

Fully detailing/cleaning and maintaining a ~14,000 SF house and 850 SF guest house
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in private home is preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, organization, and household management.
  • Familiar with cleaning products and tools.
  • Previous experience in a private home with laundering clothing and linens.
  • Familiar with laundry procedures and products.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Ability to handle fine furnishings and delicate items with care.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness when handling confidential matters.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take on new tasks as needed.
  • Motivated, organized, professional, honest, energetic, discrete, possess a high degree of integrity, work ethic, and responsible character.
  • Outgoing positive attitude and adaptable to change.
  • Must be articulate and possess the ability to listen, read and speak effectively.
  • Excellent organization skills. Would like someone who loves to organize.

  • Have their own reliable transportation and Valid driving license. When running household errands a car is provided.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
  • Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
  • Be able to reach overhead.
  • Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, Standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
  • Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
  • Be able to carry laundry and cleaning supplies and able to move small furniture as needed.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
Responsibilities:
1) Cleaning
    Daily Cleaning and Maintenance:
    Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining all rooms and living spaces in impeccable condition.
    • Weekly Deep clean and organization of all spaces in the house weekly (guest house with less frequency, but weekly light clean)
    Cleaning and Maintenance of Outdoor Spaces:
    Maintain all outdoor spaces in impeccable condition by washing and caring for outdoor furniture linens, dusting outdoor furniture and lines, and covering/uncovering outdoor furniture as needed.
      Bedroom and Closet Organization:
      Refresh bedrooms daily (new towels, make beds, organize/reset, open window treatments, etc.). Ensure that bedrooms and closets are cleaned daily, open window treatments, well-organized and tidy, following the family's preferences for storage and arrangement. Change bed linens weekly.
        Bathroom Care:
        Thoroughly clean and sanitize all bathrooms, ensuring that they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
          Floor and Surface Care:
          Maintain the floors, carpet rugs, and other surfaces in pristine condition.
            Window and Glass Cleaning:
            Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors throughout the residence to maintain a clear and sparkling appearance.
            • Weekly clean and organization of garages
            • Seasonal Cleaning and projects 2)Guest arrival preparation and accommodations for family members and friends.
            3)
            Laundry and Linens:
            This person is responsible for all laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, putting away and organizing family members' clothing, towels, and linens. Ironing and sewing, if necessary. 4) Stocking/organizing pantry, drinks refrigerator, regular fridge/freezer, and other spaces to ensure supplies are replenished (review expiration dates; tell homeowner when items are running low) 5) Seasonal maintenance/cleaning of the patios outside and other outdoor items as necessary
            • in the spring, remove furniture covers and store away, wash patios, clean furniture and cushions, wash trampoline. In the fall, cover furniture and get ready for winter. "In season" so June
            • November, always ensure outside is "guest ready" (pillows organized, seat cushions cleaned, tables wiped down, grill and surrounding countertop cleaned, etc.
            ) 6) Cleaning up after the dogs on days when Poo Crew does not come…we have a service clean up after the dogs on Tuesdays and Fridays…all other days, please pick up and put dog waste on pile where homeowner specifies. Replenish dog water outside daily. 7) Getting mail from roadside mailbox ~two times per week; bringing packages into garage (they could be at gate or front door). Unboxing Amazon boxes. 8) Bringing trash and recycle cans to curb weekly and bringing them back in 9) Helping unpack grocery deliveries 10) Ability to help with driving kids to sports when we need an additional driver (rare) 11) Teenage child sitting every once in a while, (stay with kids while adults travel
            • again rare). 12) Willingness to stay at the house when the family travels (to watch dogs, water plants, continue housekeeping role)
            • usually holidays, ~6 weekends in the winter, one week for spring break, a few weeks over summer, then the random weekend here and there). 13) Run minor errands as needed (pick up/drop off dry cleaning, drop off packages at UPS, pick up kids from school if needed, etc.)
            • these are rare too.
            When homeowner brings dry cleaning home, please help put away items. 14) Ensure home is always "guest ready." 15) Organization of all drawers, cabinets, closets, etc.…each week tackle a new space and completely clean and organize. 16) Stock all bathrooms with toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, tissue, etc. 17) Provide list of items that homeowner should purchase (cleaning supplies, bar soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.). 18) Eventual organization and clean of basement storage room…maybe a little each week?) 19) Polish silver as requested. 20) General awareness of vendors and activities on property. 21)

            Note:
            In addition to the items above, homeowner may ask for other random tasks to be completed (wash dogs, address an item with the pond, water plants, feed dogs, help with a party, if necessary, etc.).
