Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our guestrooms are spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, performing detailed cleaning tasks, and providing exceptional service to clients. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help create an environment that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guestrooms and common areas, including changing bedsheets, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently. Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing hardwood floors, and maintaining tile surfaces to ensure they remain spotless and well-maintained. Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed meticulously, including waste disposal and disinfecting high-touch areas to promote health and safety. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents' or guests' needs promptly and professionally. Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to management. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely. Experience with laundry operations and housekeeping schedules is highly desirable. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards or hospitality industry experience is a plus.
