Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine environment. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques. Use manual handling skills for heavy lifting of furniture, appliances, or cleaning supplies safely and effectively. Manage cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring proper use and maintenance for optimal performance. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service while managing time effectively to complete tasks promptly. Conduct outdoor work as needed for exterior cleaning or yard maintenance tasks in line with residential or commercial requirements. Experience Proven janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Experience with various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and surface sanitation. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and appropriate safety protocols for manual handling and sanitation procedures. Prior hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous due to the high standards of cleanliness required. Ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple tasks in fast-paced environments. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and understanding specific cleaning preferences.
