In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring an exceptional experience for every visitor. Your enthusiasm and commitment to high standards will directly contribute to our reputation for outstanding service and comfort. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold cleanliness standards. Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain spotless surfaces throughout the property. Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and minibar items to ensure guest needs are met promptly. Conduct routine inspections of rooms and public spaces to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them accordingly. Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning products. Support team efforts in maintaining a hygienic environment that aligns with hospitality industry standards. Weekends are required for this position. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hotel or hospitality setting. Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, waxing, and polishing floors. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and safety protocols. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints. Each room clean within a 30 minute window. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, managers and respond to guest requests professionally. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving cleaning supplies or furniture as needed. Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus for those interested in advancement opportunities.
