Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public spaces following established protocols. Handle cleaning agents and chemicals safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures. Perform manual handling tasks such as making beds, moving furniture, and lifting supplies or equipment safely, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure spotless surfaces. Manage janitorial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning tools are well-maintained and stored properly. Follow hotel emergency procedures to respond promptly to incidents or safety concerns. Assist in hotel housekeeping management tasks as needed to support team coordination and operational efficiency. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping management with a strong understanding of hospitality standards. Skilled in handling chemical agents safely while maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment used for floor care and deep cleaning tasks. Ability to perform manual handling tasks efficiently while prioritizing safety protocols. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical products. Excellent custodial experience with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across various areas. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage janitorial supplies and support housekeeping management functions effectively.
