Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing various flooring types to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal. Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including the use of specialized equipment for deep cleaning projects. Adhere to health and safety standards by properly handling cleaning chemicals and maintaining a clean workspace to prevent hazards. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred, but not necessary. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and industrial cleaning equipment. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or supplies. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Familiarity with custodial practices within hospitality or institutional settings is advantageous. Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervising staff is a plus but not required.
