Duties Perform thorough cleaning of hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and polishing to maintain a spotless environment. Assist with moving furniture and equipment for room setups or maintenance needs while adhering to safety protocols. Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and reporting maintenance issues promptly. Ensure all cleaning tools and supplies are properly maintained and stored securely after use. Participate in industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning carpets or upholstery as required. Follow established safety procedures during all janitorial and custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation. Requirements Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, janitorial services, or industrial cleaning is highly desirable. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care methods such as waxing, stripping, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Strong understanding of hospitality standards with a focus on guest satisfaction and cleanliness. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure all areas meet quality standards. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly.
