  • Perform all storeroom duties related to the movement of items at storerooms and other locations according to department policies and procedures. Process any required transactions to document the related activity. Operate any vehicles and equipment necessary to perform job tasks. Assist or fill in for Chief Storeroom Attendant when directed to do so. Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, store, and issue materials, supplies, and tools.
This includes checking, sorting, inspecting, assembling or disassembling, stacking, wrapping, loading, unloading storeroom items by hand or by machine. Package material/items for return to shipper when necessary. Keeps records, does all necessary clerical work of all storeroom transactions, performs required actions in current electronic system of record used by company) and furnishes information as required to other departments. Takes or assists in taking periodic inventory checkups. Keeps tools and work equipment clean and in condition ready to use at all times. Performs related tasks which are common to storeroom operation. Required Qualifications
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively.
Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions Must be physically able to perform the duties required, ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to or willing to become proficient in current electronic system of record used by company) to perform required storeroom transactions and processes. Must have a valid CT Drivers License with good driving record. Must have a good degree of mechanical aptitude. Must be able to or willing to become proficient in operation of storeroom equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) and any other necessary vehicles. Preferred Qualifications
  • Gas materials knowledge Prior forklift experience Computer Aptitude Prior stores/logistics knowledge. Competencies
