Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and passion for cleanliness will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by performing routine cleaning tasks. Care for floors using appropriate cleaning techniques including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep surfaces immaculate. Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times. Follow established safety procedures during cleaning activities and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold safety standards. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans of areas as needed to maintain overall hotel hygiene excellence. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning services, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods. Familiarity with hotel operations or custodial management is a plus. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably. Good communication skills and a positive attitude that contributes to team morale.
