Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are highly valued. Experience in hospitality, janitorial services, or industrial cleaning is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in housekeeping management and custodial services. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors as needed Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest satisfaction Handle special cleaning projects such as carpet cleaning or deep sanitation of high-touch areas Follow safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly Adhere to established standards for cleanliness and presentation in accordance with hospitality or custodial protocols Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality environments is preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is advantageous Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods during shifts Experience with housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus Prior hotel experience or custodial experience will be considered an asset Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the workplace
