A Maid or Housekeeping Staff provides cleaning and housekeeping services, primarily for rooms and bathrooms in hotels and hospitals. May also work in private residences, office buildings, colleges, other institutions.
$16.00 The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities. This position ensures that all assigned areas meet established cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards while providing excellent service to guests. Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards. Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities. Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, mirrors, sinks, toilets, and showers. Restock room supplies and report inventory shortages. Clean hallways, lobbies, elevators, stairways, and public areas. Remove trash and dispose of waste properly. Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and safety hazards promptly. Respond to guest requests and provide courteous customer service. Follow hotel safety, security, and sanitation procedures. Ensure lost-and-found items are handled according to hotel policy. Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in an organized manner.
