Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and facilities. Supervise and train junior housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or needs. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and procedures. Conduct regular inspections of cleaned areas to ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with management to develop efficient cleaning schedules and protocols. Address guest requests and concerns promptly to enhance their experience. Experience Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred. Supervising experience in a hospitality or commercial cleaning environment is advantageous. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus. Experience in hotel or healthcare settings will be considered an asset. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols is essential.
