In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards. Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall floor hygiene across public spaces and corridors. Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, linens, and supplies to ensure guest needs are consistently met. Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other communal spaces by dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal. Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe environment for colleagues and guests. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold quality standards. Support housekeeping management with inventory control and documentation of cleaning activities. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work within hotels or similar hospitality environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and sanitation standards. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality cleanliness consistently. Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards or previous hotel housekeeping experience is a plus. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
