Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Houseman to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of guest areas, service areas, and public spaces. Your proactive approach will ensure that our guests experience a welcoming, spotless environment that reflects our commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enthusiastic about hospitality, and eager to contribute to a positive guest experience through diligent custodial care. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, polishing, and applying industrial floor care methods to ensure safety and aesthetics Assist with furniture arrangement, replenishing supplies, and organizing storage areas to promote efficiency and cleanliness Support housekeeping staff by handling laundry duties and restocking amenities as needed Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained in accordance with safety standards Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly Follow all health and safety protocols diligently to uphold sanitation standards across the property Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques Background in hospitality or janitorial services demonstrating reliability and attention to detail Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper handling of cleaning tools Experience managing housekeeping tasks within a fast-paced environment is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings will be considered an asset Join us in creating memorable guest experiences by ensuring every space is pristine, welcoming, and impeccably maintained.
