Provides a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents by maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, and other areas of the community.

SCHEDULE

Part-time position, 3 days per week Rotating schedule every 3rd weekend Wednesdays are not scheduled workdays

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleans resident rooms, common areas, hallways, lounges, restrooms, and other assigned areas to maintain community cleanliness and health standards. Vacuums, sweeps, mops, and cleans floors and carpets as needed. Dusts and cleans furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces. Cleans and disinfects resident bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, and mirrors. Changes and replaces resident linens as needed, including making beds. Empties wastebaskets and transports trash to designated disposal areas. Maintains cleanliness and organization of housekeeping, utility, and storage areas. Restocks housekeeping and bathroom supplies as needed. Cleans and disinfects equipment and surfaces according to community infection-control and safety procedures. Inspects assigned areas and vacant rooms to ensure they are clean, sanitary, and ready for use. Reports maintenance concerns, damaged items, or other issues to the supervisor promptly. Follows all safety, infection-control, and housekeeping procedures. Maintains a professional and respectful manner when interacting with residents, families, and staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
