Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Housekeeper/Server to join our team, committed to providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. This role combines the responsibilities of ensuring cleanliness and sanitation with delivering friendly, efficient food service. Ideal candidates will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a passion for creating positive experiences for residents and guests alike. Whether assisting in dietary needs or serving meals with a smile, you will play a vital role in fostering comfort and well-being within our community. Responsibilities Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout resident rooms, common areas, kitchens, and dining spaces by performing thorough cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting tasks. Assist with meal preparation, food handling, and serving in accordance with food safety regulations to ensure quality and hygiene. Support dietary department operations by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring dining areas are tidy and inviting for residents and guests. Help with food production activities such as portioning ingredients, setting up serving stations, and assisting culinary staff during meal times. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety standards while supporting meal service routines. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service by addressing resident needs promptly and courteously. Contribute to a safe environment by adhering to sanitation protocols, cleaning schedules, and safety guidelines at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation practices related to food safety standards. Experience in dietary aide roles or dietary departments is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle cleaning tasks alongside meal service responsibilities. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Basic kitchen experience including cooking or meal preparation is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
