Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels according to hotel standards. Ensure all floor care tasks are completed using appropriate equipment for carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and spot cleaning as needed. Follow established health and safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe environment for guests and staff. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management to ensure timely repairs and uphold quality standards. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during scheduled intervals or as directed by supervisors. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial work, industrial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation practices, and use of cleaning equipment. Experience in hospitality or custodial services demonstrates an understanding of guest service expectations. Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving heavy objects when necessary.
