Job Description
Full-Time Housekeeper / Family Assistant (with Part-Time Nanny Responsibilities) About Our Family We are a busy family of five, soon to be six, seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Housekeeper/part time nanny to help keep our home running smoothly. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized home while also being comfortable stepping in to assist with childcare when needed. Primary Responsibilities Household Management & Housekeeping (Approximately 80%) Daily tidying and organization of all living spaces Family laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and putting away clothing Maintaining clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas Changing bed linens and managing household linens Organizing closets, pantries, toys, and storage areas Meal preparation and basic cooking on occasion Grocery pick up and household errands Managing household supplies and inventory Receiving deliveries and assisting with household projects Helping create and maintain efficient household systems Childcare Support (Approximately 20%) Preparing snacks and meals for the children (minimal) Supporting daily routines, activities, and transportation in an emergency Providing care for a newborn while other children are at school Supervising children when parents are unavailable Qualifications Previous housekeeping, household management, nanny, or family assistant experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and take initiative Comfortable working in a busy household with multiple children Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Excellent references Background check required Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who enjoys creating order, thrives in a family environment, and can anticipate household needs before being asked.
