Job Responsibilities:

Practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces such as tables, doorknobs, light switches, sinks, faucets, etc. Use and follow labeled instructions carefully on EPA-registered disinfectants and cleaners that are appropriate for the surface. Use precautions when cleaning and handling cleaning products such as wearing gloves and making sure you have good ventilation during the use of cleaning products. Replenishes all cleaning supplies in storage. Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies, room supplies, linens, and kitchen supplies and reports any maintenance needed. Notes and communicates any noted damaged furniture, bedding, etc. to the Executive Director. Daily deep cleaning of the facilities such as. Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures. Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area. Making beds and changing linens. Washing windows and windowpanes. Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors. Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs. Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry. Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning equipment. Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies. Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces. Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste. Attend staff training sessions and meetings as needed. Maintains proper working relationships within the department and with other operating departments on property.
