Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, sanitation, laundry, and custodial services, ensuring all areas meet company standards. Lead and motivate housekeeping staff by providing clear instructions, ongoing training, and performance feedback to foster a cohesive team environment. Manage schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs. Enforce safety regulations and sanitation protocols to promote a safe working environment for all team members. Conduct regular inspections of cleaning areas to verify quality standards are met and identify opportunities for process improvements. Collaborate with management to develop cleaning & sanitation management plans that align with industry best practices for commercial cleaning and hospitality environments. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, staff schedules, safety compliance, and inventory levels for supplies such as cleaning agents and equipment. Skills Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or commercial cleaning environments with a strong understanding of sanitation practices. Demonstrated staff supervision or team management skills with the ability to lead by example and foster teamwork. Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate tasks and relay expectations clearly. Strong customer service orientation to ensure all interactions promote a positive experience for staff and visitors. Knowledge of safety regulations related to janitorial services, sanitation standards, and workplace safety procedures. Experience managing cleaning & sanitation operations within hospitality or institutional settings is highly desirable. Ability to organize multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in laundry services or other custodial duties.
