Housekeeping Worker

Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of designated spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene. Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining restrooms to ensure they are clean and fully operational. Execute floor care procedures including buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to preserve flooring integrity and appearance. Assist with custodial responsibilities for both residential and commercial properties, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness expectations. Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and industrial cleaning tasks to keep the environment safe and well-maintained. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules and respond promptly to special requests or urgent cleaning needs. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial or hotel housekeeping experience with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety protocols. Familiarity with floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Experience in commercial cleaning environments or industrial settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
