In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our property, creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your energy and attention to detail will help maintain our high standards of hospitality and comfort. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while contributing to a positive guest experience. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and service spaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces. Assist with hotel setup and breakdown for events or special functions, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-organized. Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and maintaining inventory levels. Handle janitorial tasks such as waste removal, window cleaning, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and operate industrial cleaning equipment safely. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations and exceptional guest service. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings. Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet extraction. Previous hotel experience is highly desirable to understand guest service expectations. Strong understanding of hospitality standards with a focus on cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus for leadership opportunities.
