Job Description
Room Attendant (Housekeeping)Job Overview Hotel Saint Joseph is a boutique waterfront hotel located in the heart of Port St. Joe, Florida. We're looking for a dependable, detail oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you'll help create the clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience our guests expect from the moment they open the door to their room. This is a part-time position averaging 24 to 32 hours per week. During our busiest seasons, up to 40 hours may be available. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Responsibilities Clean guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, and public areas to hotel standards Make beds, replace linens, replenish towels, and restock guest amenities Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels while helping maintain the laundry room Vacuum, dust, mop, sanitize, and inspect rooms to ensure they are guest-ready Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, and lost and found promptly Work closely with the Front Desk and Maintenance teams to ensure rooms are available on time for arriving guests Follow all housekeeping procedures and safety guidelines Maintain a clean, organized housekeeping cart, laundry room, and storage areas Assist with stayover service, deep cleaning projects, and other housekeeping duties as needed Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Able to work independently while managing time efficiently Comfortable performing physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and pushing housekeeping carts throughout the shift Must be available to work weekends and holidays Why Join Hotel Saint Joseph?
