Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Provide exceptional hospitality by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness. Assist in training new housekeeping staff on best practices and company standards. Conduct regular inspections of cleaned areas to ensure quality control. Requirements Proven experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision. Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required by the job. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
