As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Handle various cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and polishing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment Properly handle chemical agents in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols to ensure safe use and storage Perform heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or supplies safely and efficiently Maintain high standards of sanitation in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces Follow hotel emergency procedures to address incidents or safety concerns promptly and effectively Use janitorial equipment correctly to maximize cleaning efficiency while adhering to safety guidelines Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques Strong floor care skills including floor cleaning, maintenance, and chemical handling for various surfaces Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and extractors with proficiency Excellent customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction through friendly interactions and attentive service Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and janitorial best practices Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical agent handling, heavy lifting, and manual handling tasks Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms spaces into welcoming retreats.
