Job Description

Job Summary:
The Houseman is a key support member of the housekeeping team at our private Club, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest villas, public areas, comfort stations, and offices. This position plays an important role in upholding the high standards of hygiene, appearance, and service expected in our upscale Club environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to: 1. Assist with maintaining cleanliness of guest villas, including cleaning outdoor areas and glass doors 2. Support the housekeeping team in public areas, comfort stations, and administrative offices 3. Perform exterior cleaning tasks, including washing windows, glass doors, and entryways 4.
Assist with laundry duties:
collecting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and towels 5. Remove garbage, used linens, and debris from guest and staff areas 6. Dispose of garbage properly, following Club protocols for sorting, recycling, and waste disposal 7. Ensure trash bins are emptied, cleaned, and relined regularly 8. Restock housekeeping supplies such as towels, toiletries, paper products, and amenities 9. Respond promptly and courteously to service requests from guests or staff 10. Report any safety hazards, maintenance needs, or lost and found items 11. Maintain discretion and privacy for Club members and guests at all times Job Requirements include the following, but are not limited to: 1. Ability to safely lift, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods 2. Familiarity with safe handling and disposal of trash and recycling 3. High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness 4. Reliable, punctual, and professional with strong communication skills 5. Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills 6. Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team 7. Service and customer focused attitude 8. Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or maintenance roles preferred 9. Experience in private clubs, resorts, or luxury hospitality settings preferred 10. Knowledge of environmentally responsible cleaning and disposal practices preferred
