Housekeeping AttendantPosition Summary At Athletica Health & Fitness, our Housekeeping Attendants are essential to delivering the luxury experience our members expect. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the facility while creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for every member and guest. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes pride in maintaining a first-class fitness environment. Housekeeping Attendants play a vital role in ensuring our facility reflects Athletica's commitment to excellence, member satisfaction, and overall wellness. Key ResponsibilitiesFacility Cleanliness Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the entire facility, including workout floors, locker rooms, restrooms, studios, childcare areas, pool deck, lobby, and common spaces. Routinely sanitize fitness equipment, free weights, cardio machines, benches, mirrors, handrails, and other high-touch surfaces. Clean and disinfect showers, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis, and locker room amenities while ensuring they remain stocked and presentable. Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish all designated areas throughout each shift. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly to maintain a clean appearance. Equipment & Facility Support Wipe down equipment throughout the day to ensure members always have access to clean workout stations. Report damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, or facility hazards immediately to management. Assist with maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of all fitness equipment and surrounding areas. Safety & Sanitation Follow all Athletica Health & Fitness cleaning procedures and sanitation standards. Properly use and store all cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety guidelines. Immediately address spills, wet floors, or any condition that could create a safety hazard. Ensure all cleaning practices comply with company safety and health regulations. Member Experience Help create a positive, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all members and guests. Be visible throughout the facility and proactively maintain cleanliness before issues arise. Respond politely and professionally to member requests regarding facility cleanliness. Represent Athletica Health & Fitness with professionalism, positivity, and excellent customer service. Inventory & Organization Monitor and replenish paper products, soap dispensers, sanitizer stations, towels (where applicable), and cleaning supplies. Keep housekeeping closets, storage rooms, and supply areas organized, clean, and fully stocked. Notify management when supplies are running low. Teamwork & Communication Communicate effectively with management regarding maintenance needs, supply shortages, or member concerns. Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure the facility remains clean and operational throughout the day. Assist with special cleaning projects, deep cleaning assignments, and event preparation as needed. Performance Expectations Maintain Athletica Health & Fitness' high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times. Remain active and productive throughout each shift with minimal supervision. Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and take pride in the appearance of the facility. Be punctual, dependable, and maintain a positive attitude. Take initiative by identifying cleaning needs before being asked. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Exhibit professionalism, integrity, and respect toward members, guests, and fellow team members.
