Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Backup Airbnb Assistant/Short Term Rental Cleaner to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, staging for incoming guests, laundry, inventory and restocking to ensure a welcoming atmosphere and a 5 star stay for all incoming guests. This role requires a strong commitment to quality, service and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Provide a report of the condition upon arrival to assist with leaving guest reviews. Check home for damage and items left behind-report to management. Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of debris. Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding linens as needed. Maintain floor care by using appropriate cleaning techniques for different surfaces. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Support management with inventory control and supply management. Restock supplies and complimentary guest items. Conduct carpet cleaning using specialized equipment when required. Set up and stage the space to ready for guest check in. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Take care of general maintenance such as changing batteries and lightbulbs as needed. Assist with set-up and cleaning of new Airbnb/Short Term Rental properties. Perform pre-check-in inspections. Requirements Previous experience in Airbnb/Short Term Rental roles is preferred. Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and floor care techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous.
