Responsibilities Include :

This position primarily is responsible for the cleaning of hotel studios, suites, and villa rooms.

A housekeeping attendant is knowledgeable about sanitation and how to clean quickly and efficiently.

Job Function:

Cleans and service assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards. Notifies any room unable to be serviced with appropriate time standards to supervisor or dispatch. Reports needed repairs of unsafe conditions to supervisor. Responds to requests from guest, inspectors, supervisors or management in a timely and efficient manner. Collects waste throughout the hotel to help keep a spotless well-maintained hotel. Maintains linen cart and supplies neatly and organized to department standards. Helps to maintain the linen closets, linen chutes, and trash chutes clean and organized. Reports all lost and found items. Will be required to work in a fast-paced environment. Assist guest in any special requests. Complete any special projects as given by Housekeeping Management. Always use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other employees. All employees must always be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees. Assist guest in any special requests. Always look sharp as this is a "face the guest" position.

Job Requirements:

Must have the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight. Must have the ability to Multi-Task. Prior Housekeeping experience is helpful. Frequently standing, kneeling, bending, and moving around. Ability to communicate to guest. Must be able to work required shifts, Weekends and Holidays. Must be able to work as a member of a team, follow directions and be a quick learner. Fluent English speaking necessary, verbal communication skills necessary, bilingual a plus. Ability to respond to customer complaints or inquiries immediately and report all problems to a manager. Must have transportation to and from work.
