ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Clean assigned rooms according to system standards and best methods. This includes but is not limited to making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming carpet, and dusting furniture. Place and restock useable items in the guest room including paper items, soap, towels, etc. according to hotel standards. Clean exterior entry, hallways, and windows, according to hotel standards. Operate housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner. Report any equipment malfunctions to the General Manager and/or Maintenance department. Assist with guest laundry completion as required. Maintain and restock housekeeping cart each day. Know hotel emergency procedures and be prepared to carry out. Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys, or keys left by guests in room. Follow the Lost and Found program. Report immediately to the General Manager any "out of the ordinary" situations in the guests' room, including parties in the room, unusually dirty rooms or a vacant room when the room is thought to be occupied. Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to designated area in a timely manner. Accommodate guest special requests courteously and with a sense of priority. Answer guest's questions regarding local area facilities and services. Expected to carry out all reasonable requests by Managers/Supervisors which the associate can perform. Hotel is open 7 days each week, weekends and holidays are required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Background Check is required.
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Required Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of suite cleaning procedures and laundry equipment.
Experience Required:
Previous hotel experience in a housekeeping role.
Skills/Abilities:
Customer service, communication, organization, time management, prioritization, ability to meet deadlines.

General hotel environment with climate control and adequate lighting. May be exposed to chemicals, solvents and cleaning solutions.
