Housekeeper Homewood Suites Augusta Augusta, GA Job Details Part-time $14 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Stocking Hotel housekeeping Full Job Description Housekeeping Attendant Job Description A room attendant is responsible for the cleanliness, overall appearance, and adherence to brand standards of the guest rooms assigned. Use of PPE (personal protective equipment, specifically gloves) is recommended when in contact with any body fluids, especially blood. It is also advised to wear gloves while using cleaning chemicals. Other PPE is available should you request them (masks, goggles, shields, etc) Review your room/task assignments for the day plus any scheduled projects (duvets, shower curtains, etc). If you supervisor has not estimated time allowed to finish, make your own calculation to set time goal. Stock room attendant's cart, transport cart to and from laundry and rooms assigned. Follow procedure to enter rooms, prop open checkout rooms with doorstop, not the deadbolt. Please do not slam doors on deadbolts. Open doors speeds cleaning/supervising and airs out room. Do NOT knock on guest room doors prior to 11am (check-out time) unless instructed by front desk or supervisor that the room has been vacated. Do NOT enter a room, even if requested by a guest, while guest is present. If guest insists, then have a supervisor accompany you. Never enter a room with children (or pets) without a parent present. Stayover service should be performed with door open

Furniture polish is NOT allowed. Inspect any room mirrors and TVs for cleaning and dusting (front and back). Do NOT clean mirror or TV screen if not needed. They MUST be dust and streak-free

- report if replacement needed Cleans bath mirror and vanity top, sinks and all fixtures with appropriate chemical (chrome MUST be streak free) Sink stopper in the open position. Facial tissue stocked and dispenser dusted and clean. Any display or soap trays must be cleaned and free of residue. All shelving/racks/artwork dusted/cleaned. Clean and sanitize showers and or tubs
- remove all mildew, soap scum, soap residue and hard water deposits
- rinse (with water) and dry. Test shower fixtures to ensure working properly. All chrome fixtures MUST be shined. Stainless steel cleaners/polish are NOT allowed. ONLY scratch-free scouring pads (blue) or magic erasers are allowed. Tub stoppers must be in the open position and tub must drain properly. Inspect caulking. Report any issues to supervisor and/or maintenance. Cleans and sanitizes toilet
